This is a Brian Charles Steel photograph of Chief Vann’s house on a sunny day in Chatsworth, Georgia.  The house is made of red brick with white pillars, and a white balcony in the middle of the second floor in the front.  The house is situated in the middle of the frame with blue sky above and short green grass below.
This is a Brian Charles Steel photograph of downtown Cleveland, Tennessee.  A light blue building and a tan building fill the top three quarters of the frame, with an alley and blue sky between them.  The alley has a dark blue dumpster in the back.  A street fills the bottom quarter of the frame with a bright yellow line stretching across the middle of it.

In the house you can see a vase of flowers on the dining room table.
This Brian Charles Steel photo depicts a conference building at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.  The building is tan, and has nine arches.  It has a triangular shaped roof with a pentagon shaped window towards the top. The building is in the top of the bottom third of the frame.  Behind the building is a much larger metal frame of a hanger that used to house aircraft.  Behind the hanger is a clear blue sky that takes up about two thirds of the frame.
This Brian Charles Steel photo depicts the San Francisco Bay.  The photo is at an angle of that the water line makes a diagonal through the bottom third of the frame.  The diagonal starts in the lower left corner and works its way up to the top of the bottom third of the frame on the right.  There are white boats docked along the water’s edge.  On the right you can see the city skyscrapers.  To Oakland Bay bridge goes straight across just below the middle of the frame.  The sky takes up the top two thirds of the frame.  The sky is a very light blue on the bottom and a vibrant blue on the top.
This Brian Charles Steel photo depicts redwood trees in the Muir Woods of the Golden Gate National Recreational Area in San Francisco, California.  The image is framed with trees lying horizontally on the ground, and trees standing vertically.  The sunlight is filtering through the trees, so that there are spots of light intermixed with shadows.  The right third of the frame is filled with a standing redwood.  Parts of the bark are missing showing three different layers of the tree. The deeper parts are very shadowy.  A green vine grows along the outside of the tree.  In the background are standing trees with lots of green.

Below the tower is a palm tree a couple of pine trees.  On the far right side of the frame is the backside of a parking sign.

The yellow-orange sunlight reflects off the water.  There are a series of buoys towards the middle of the frame.   There is stretch of land beyond the buoys; the land contains trees and houses.  The sky takes up the top half of the frame.  The sky is a mix of blue and red clouds.  In the middle of the sky is a streak of bright yellow orange light.
This Brian Charles Steel photo depicts Lake Prien in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The shot is facing the dock and downward angle.  The dock fills up the bottom third of the frame.  Starting at the left side it comes two thirds of the way across and then turns its angle downward towards the bottom right corner. The lake fills the rest of the frame.  The water closest to the dock is dark.  The farther away from the dock the water is the lighter it becomes.
This Brian Charles Steel photo depicts a landscape of a lake in Cleveland, Tennessee during the fall.  The water of the lake is completely smooth.  The bottom third of the frame is filled with dark blue water.  The water is blue because of the reflection of the sky.  The middle portion of the frame is filled with smooth water that has a mixture of colors including: orange, brown, and blue.  The colors come from reflections of the land, trees, and sky.  The trees line the lake, and are filled with orange leaves.  Shadows from the trees stretch across the land.  Behind the trees is a mixture of dirt, green grass, and leaves.  Above the trees is the blue sky.
